5 steps for startups to re-engage past demos & close lost prospects
You have absolutely NOTHING to lose by reaching out to past demos or lost prospects… and a TON to gain (even if it’s just intel on a competitor they ended-up going with… and when their contract ends!).
Scaling lessons from the fastest growing SaaS company ever
- Create automated processes one step at a time.
- When dealing with established industries, expect things that don’t scale.
- Sometimes you have to sacrifice scalability (and product) to get an edge.
- Most people are caught off guard by exponential growth.
- Bottlenecks can come from surprising places…and premature optimization is still the root of all evil.
Hyper-growth in SaaS

The tyranny of the Minimum Viable Product
The Minimum Viable Product is a great idea. It focuses teams on what is important. The author argues, however, that it has been misused because of too much focus on minimal and too little focus on viable. For MVP to truly help develop products that work for the Internet of Things, developers need to focus on romantic quality — viability and user experience as much as or even more than classic quality — features and functions. Bringing viability onto an equal footing with features is what is needed to use the MVP mindset to truly make products people want and love.

Time for a break
Not for Curated though! We're slowly getting addicted to our own emails. We know, that's probably not a good sign. Something tells us it is time for a retreat, so that's exactly what we're going to do.
At the end of May, we will be in a villa on Cyprus. And we would like to know if you'd be interested in joining! May 26 - June 2nd, costs: between $250 and 350,- + your flight. We don't have a fancy site or program yet, but if enough of you are interested, we will make it happen, reply to let us know if you're up for the first ever SF Retreat :)
Happy easter!
